Emmy Awards 2011

Emmys 2011 saw a variety of trends, but red was the clearest statement of style. In our scientific count, no fewer than seven women wore red sets for the show.

Kate Winslet wore a sheath Elie Saab dress, cape with deep V-neck, while Kerry Washington presented an award at a glittering Zuhair Murad dress.

Jason Street itself, Scott Porter, went on a bit of a Twitter-crazy, too. "Kyle to win, I am literally crying with joy for one of the greatest men I've ever had the honor of knowing! # FridayNightLights YES!"

He added: "Texas always effect. Congratulations to one of the greatest men I have had the honor of knowing. You deserve it. Thanks for letting me learn from you, Kyle."

"Kyle Chandler WINS Best Actor in a drama! # # FridayNightLights Emmys," adds our fave, Matt Lauria.

Margo Martindale had his "Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series" golden statue of a long skirt and red top and Angela Kinsey posed for pictures in a dress with a voltage in a shade of fire engine.

Meanwhile, Giuliana Rancic questions in a stunning red strapless and Lea Michele stole the show (or the red carpet, at least) one of the Marchesa dresses only at night. Nina Dobrev and stands in one of the first stars on the red carpet, with a bright dress from Donna Karan.

Giuliana, Nina, Kate, Leah, Margo, Kerry and Angela - who wore red best? See all the dresses of fire below!
